How we research

Every rule comes from an official source (a statute, city code, or DMV, DOT, police or parks page) or a reputable news outlet. Each one is linked on the page.
If we can't confirm something, we say unclear — check locally instead of guessing.
Each page shows the date we last checked its sources.
